Chelsea have been offered the chance to offload striker Fabio Borini in the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old has failed to break into Carlo Ancelotti's first team despite being a consistent performer for the club's reserve side.

Parma are now waiting in the wings to take the former Bologna youth team player back to Italy and negotiations between the two clubs, according to the Italian press, are at an advanced stage.

Borini joined the club in 2007 but has made just four substitute appearances in the Premier League and has never scored a competitive goal for the club. Daniel Sturridge is Ancelotti's preferred back-up striker making chances for Borini increasingly rare.
