Hughton sacking set to scupper move for Mayuka

Newcastle are set to miss out on the signing of Young Boys striker Emmanuel Mayuka ater the sacking of Chris Hughton.
Mayuka, 20, has been a revelation for the Swiss side in the Europa League this season and has been attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe.
Reports in Switzerland suggest that Newcastle were winning the race to clinch his signature and had sent scouts to see him play.
But after Hughton was axed on Monday, the next Toon manager is likely to have his own ideas and the £2.5m deal now looks like it will be off.
