West Ham weigh up bid for Hamburg ace
West Ham are poised to make a move for Hamburg defender Guy Demel.
Avram Grant is keen to sign a right back before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
West Ham failed to bring in a replacement when Lucas Neill left the club twelve months ago and have already conceded six goals in their opening two games.
Demel, 29, has a wealth of experience and has already played in England after he was brought through the ranks by Arsenal, before making a move to Borussia Dortmund.
The Ivory Coast international would relish the chance to play in the Premier League and West Ham hope to finalise a deal in the next few days.
