Scott Parker has confirmed to West Ham that he is definitely staying at Upton Park.

Parker has been strongly linked with a £7m move to Tottenham and there were strong fears he would leave the east London club after he delayed signing a new five-year contract.

Harry Redknapp is a big admirer of the former Chelsea midfielder and had already seen one offer turned down for the West Ham midfielder.

But Parker has given West Ham fans the news they wanted to hear after revealing he will definitely stay at Upton Park.

He is now expected to put pen to paper on his new long-term contract which will come as major relief to his manager Avram Grant.
