Ian Holloway is ready to ban his players from the 2012 Olympics.
Great Britain is set to enter a football team into the Games for the first time since 1964 - but it appears there will be no Blackpool players involved, with Holloway claiming it's no place for professional sportsmen.
Holloway insisted: "I’d tell them in no uncertain terms where they can go with their Olympics. This is a professional game and my players are professionals. And at the Olympics you’re not professional. Are you?
"I don’t think you can be a professional athlete, can you? You can get sponsorship. You understand what I’m saying? Why is a professional game going back into the Olympics?
"The Olympics is for sports that aren’t professional, so I don’t agree with it."
