Andy Murray will take on Novak Djokovic for the Australian Open title after battling his way past Roger Federer in Friday's semi-final.
The 25-year-old Briton had never beaten Federer at a Grand Slam but was a deserved 6-4 6-7 (5/7) 6-3 6-7 (2/7) 6-2 winner to set up a showdown with the world number one on Sunday.
It will be Murray's sixth Grand Slam final and a repeat of last year's US Open final, which saw the Scot clinch his first major victory with a five-set victory over the Serbian.
Should Murray be victorious against Djokovic, he will become the first player in the Open era to win his first two Grand Slams back-to-back.
