Andy Murray clinched his first title of 2012 with a straight sets win against Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov to clinch the ATP Brisbane International.
The British number one triumphed in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3 under the watchful eye of new coach Ivan Lendl as he prepared for the Australian Open in the best possible manner.
And Murray was in positive mood following the victory, claiming it can lead to more success in the future.
"It's my first week with this new team and it was good. Mr Lendl - he's up there somewhere, hiding," he said.
"I really enjoyed it. Hopefully it'll bring more success in the future."
After a dominant first set display to win 6-1, Murray raced into a 4-0 lead in the second set but took his foot off the gas allowing Dolgopolov, who appeared to be carring a groin strain, back to 4-3, before closing out the match in impressive style.
